The division in the Senate, is it sides butting against forces and walls, factions [the biggest factions: the Republican and Democratic “machines”] culling and harvesting votes of the “fold”. Internally, is the Senate fractured?  McCain and others seemed to think so in past administrations.  With a POTUS former senator, is it different now under the Barack Obama Administration?  Seems…yes.
