Of course it’s a compliment. Dean-o was one of the greatest entertainers of all time. The original tweet was going to be something like “I didn’t know you could play the straight man” on CNN, but then I thought of Anderson Cooper and it might not sound appropriate, so I thought of Dean-o. Seems like many commentators move from Bloomberg to CNBC or CNN and get more like Joe Friday of Dragnet> “Just the facts ma’am, just the facts.” I like your variety. I see Matt is delivering more like a Walter Cronkite or Roger Mudd which befits his numbered profession, but I’m goofy myself when I can relax, so I like it when you guys show your personalities. I’ve been better (meaning both I’ve been better and I am feeling well but tired: I’m tutoring kids under No Child Left Behind and am doing bits as a performer…enough to get me off unemployment.
