Marie Antoinette Today: Let Them Be Lawyers

Fiction: “State Bar didn’t go far.”

“Stop complaining.”

“I’m not complaining, I’m forecasting.”

“What, you’re some kinda clairvoyant now?”

“Prophet, no, prophets speak for God.  Where is my voice coming from?  I’m prognosticating–that’s safe and usual.  I don’t “see” it so it’s not from a seer…I’m interpreting resolution of the inconsistencies, conflicts of interest and loopholes in the legal system’s private/public arrangement.  Take the lawyer out of the private sector and he’s merely a citizen.  What did Marie Antoinette say? ‘Let them be lawyers!'”
