“Dad, what’s an ‘implied promise’ worth?”

The main reason I would have joined the military was to be entrusted to lead others and to have the confidence to continue to do so civilly.

If it is mentioned and there is no exclusionary language for implied promises in the contract, you might be able to bootstrap oral promises, innuendos and gestures, especially if the JAG officer[s] concur[s].”
