Anecdotal: What Do I Know?
We start second grade and the “[h]ead [s]tart” program is formed.
Skip through struggles on every side and we now have “diversity.” Hardly ever a mention of “affirmative action” anymore. What was once intended for African Americans has been doled out “equally” to all oppressed minorities and immigrants. I guess it’s fair. Immigrants before us took from the natives.
Beyonce is calling, “bow down.” We were taught to get blacks ahead by being gracious. Sometimes I was gracious out of charity, sometimes out of fear, but it’s true, affirmative action [and the Black Panthers] made me consider “the other”. I am pushing 60 now. Affirmative action has run it’s course. The functionaries put my firehose into Big Blue and realized if I lived past 65, I’d need a Phillipina nurse for the rest of my life.
Like the American astronaut, Buzz Aldrin, said on an insurance commercial, “What did I know?” [about insurance].
White privilege. You can have it y’all.
I wonder if Reagan et seq. let the Russians in to fight the black gangs?
