Dear @HarveyWeinstein: You Can Be A Hollywood Reformer As Michael Milken Is For Bonds. Texans Cheer: youtube.com/watch?v=0kdb1i

Dear Mr. Weinstein:

I’ve noticed I’m getting challenging bits but since I work infrequently now-a-days at almost 60, I am often overwhelmed on set.  The concentration and “focus” as Jeff Goldblum calls it, is as practiced as any sport.  I am out of that practice. Perhaps the twitter time has retrained my mind.

I do not feel classes, workshops or auditions survive the cost/benefit analysis.

I can see why actors tend to be community thinkers because many are out of work and in touch with their target audience while few further out of bounds need attachments to the mother ship…

Like health care [varied needs of community as whole; what does community consent to maintain]?

What are the banks and insurers willing to maintain? What about people like me who are sick and tired of being “schooled”?

We find a Harvey Weinstein.

Sincerely,

John Rubens
