UNCLE: The tow line is a rope tow at the bottom of the ski slope that takes skiers up the mountain to downhill.  Skiers grab the rope as it moves between two pulleys with the use of a motor.  We’d hang on to the rope at the conveyor speed with one arm, holding our ski poles in the other.  The first time I used it I fell on my face and broke a ski.
