If ‘taking it slow’ means I’ll avoid pitfalls*, I agree with #AndreDeShields. I also like the boxing moves of @ChrisCuomo #TangSoDo & #KungFu: Use defensive arms and hands as offensive jabs at junctures. #Oman strategy.

  • Pitfalls were taught in Religion class at Bellarmine College Preparatory, San Jose, CA 1972-1973 scholastic year.
  • As an adult in a career, “pitfalls” have meant a choice of “desolation” rather than “consolation” which may trigger further movement[s] away from God [ego/id gratification]. Repentance, sacrifice and suffering [St. Paul’s thorn in the side] are evidence of getting out of “the pit”. See also, Psalms of David, Psalm 30.
  • Compare, getting in a pit because of an earthquake for instance, “to expose the glory of God” to see how an individual strives to succeed.
