I thought of a book and title describing someone that fits the description of a man who exploits “a piece of ass” for primarily hedonistic reasons, then as he transforms from juvenile to adult male, he assumes the mantle he has so coveted for himself, A Man For All Seasons.

Like the fish that got away, I can’t remember the inventive three-word title, but do remember it began “The” and the next two words started with the same letter, “B” for instance comes to mind. The nuance was negative connotation on the second word and a transformative, positive image of the central character for the third word of the title, such as “The Drag Deer”.

Not being able to recall, I came up with other similar titles for such a novel about an adolescent who skirt chases and later bar hops at singles bars only to reform and become an iconic authentic person.
