The Feericks are certainly a branch of the  de Bermingham family who were aristocrats both in Ireland and England. The de Berminghams in Irish circles were called the Gaelic version of Son of Piers. Piers was one of the early members of the family in Ireland. There is actually a extensive history of the family on Wikipedia. Hope to see you and Lucia next weekend.
