Reason: As a suspended lawyer, I wouldn’t take discipline so personally and permanent.

And as David Corn tweeted today, Donald Trump is a civil defendant in fraud lawsuits which, like the Paula Jones case, could lead to criminal allegations.

Waking from sleep, the spirits speak to us.

They haunt us with phrases to wake us from the netherside.

“The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.”–Jesus at the Garden of Gethsemane

“At first I was inspired, but now I’m sad and tired.”–Tim Rice, Jesus speaking from Jesus Christ Superstar after three years on mission, about to drink the cup of death on a cross.

The author has substantial depth, experience in his essay of Foreign Affairs, July/August 2016 at 114 et seq.

Gause throws out occasion tidbits like dog treats weighted toward the end of his insightful touchy-feely essay. His comments about main-stream journalists are also amusing and like the touchy-feely, they belie the premise he exposes like a pretense.

Recommend for “Middle East watchers”, ibid at 123.
