#WastedTime? Not with #VinScully around @VinScullytweet

When you deal with a pass-time [also past-time] like baseball in middle-age. One asks one’s self, ‘Is it worth it? Is it a waste of my time today?’

I’d like to be a hard-working individual on those days when I have these thoughts. If I were a high-powered lawyer or a student, I could use the pass time as a form of leisure and/or relaxation. Having foregone those duties, I’m left with finding something of my own to hone or live vicariously off the excellence of a team or teams.

To watch the Dodgers opener or not to watch. Without a reason not to, Vin Scully is the deciding factor.

Dear Judge Merrick Garland: I’m sorry if mocking sounds like scorn

I’m sorry for mocking your candidacy, but things haven’t been going very well for us. I think you’ll be fine in a “Clarence Thomas Court.” How ’bout a little shake-up over there? @SCOTUS

If one learns to motate as one ages, one learns to motate in a learned way.

Mistakes can turn you into a better person than you were before, so long as you learn from them.
