Kellogg’s Special-K box emphasizes tomorrow and they are so right!  We hear about “living for the moment” or “in the moment” but those “moments” of decision and self-restraint will lead us to our tomorrows.

For instance, yesterday was Ash Wednesday and Roman Catholics are under a duty to abide by certain rules of penance, abstinence and fasting.  If we fast, we’ll feel better later on in that we accomplished something if our bodies are in recovery.  However, if we have a half-bottle of wine like I did yesterday, the satisfaction is muted.
