The Internet and Its Drawing Power

“The guy with the ponytail is out.”*

The internet and its tentacles a way to trap populace to a network “it” controls and monitors. Like a speedboat confiscated in the illicit drug trade, the CHP can paint it, use it or chop it up as it pleases [Reference: Tim Hirneisen, Chief Executive Officer, San Diego Bay Marine].

Desperate Musings during the night in Vista, CA after too much Lost Abbey Judgement Day Ale:

The celebrity of office and its influence $

Nixon did not get rich in office.

Take away their funding—sue the State Bar into oblivion.

*Guy with the ponytail is the individual with a grey-haired pony-tail who had final responsibility for the internet governance until the U.S. Government or an entity affiliated with it whose name I forget, took over some 1-2 decades ago. Soon after the transfer of power, the man with the ponytail died.

Re: Your Feature on Mr. Cook/Stone Brewing

Dear Pimm:

I just got home from a trip to The Lost Abbey Brewery in San Marcos, California to celebrate an old buddies birthday yesterday. While there, I met Ken Schmidt, Brewmaster, of Aloha Brews who was picking up a jug of his favorite brew for himself. I mentioned Stone Brewery and the feature I saw on your show last week and he said he knows the two partners at Stone, Steve and Mr. Cook, the partner who was on your show.

Thanks for giving me something to talk to the Brewmaster about before he left. He gave me his card: www.kenschmidtbrews.com (760) 317-7374

Later, we went to the Sublime Alehouse on Restaurant Row in San Marcos which featured Stone Brews.

Sincerely,

#McClinton Campaign? @McCainClinton2016

Senator John McCain

Arizona

Dear Senator McCain:

You would make a fine running mate with Hillary Clinton whether you or she gets a nod from his or her Party. One may suspend, but not sever relations with one’s party. It’s still a free country.

Sincerely,

John Rubens

Women Give Me Pleasure.

I admit, compared to Brahms or Leland Stanford Jr., I’m a miniscule passed pawn. At least I give pleasure. Now give me pleasure.

Is “June Spoon” a mother or a step-mother? “Those people” who work for our Government—are they really free or inmates playing their part? Sad, like so many of your family poems Kirby Wright. I suppose the Constitution requires a sense of confinement and duty to retain freedom and societal structure.

God keep us from Beelzebub @ breakfast Lucifer 4 Lunch, Devil 4 Dinner and Satan 4 Supper.

A 2013 essay published on the website TechCrunch describes the Neo-reactionary “community of bloggers” as a term applied to, and sometimes a self-description of, an informal group of online political theorists who have been active since the 2000s. The most influential is Curtis Yarvin, a computer industry worker who blogs under the pseudonym Mencius Moldbug. It traces the origin of the term “neo-reactionary” to “libertarian blogger” Arnold Kling, who first used it to describe Moldbug in 2010. A number of other neoreactionaries have technology backgrounds,[9] and a distinguishing feature of neoreaction as opposed to the traditional reactionary thought is an interest in combining technological progress with a return to earlier forms of social organization. The term Dark Enlightenment, coined by Nick Land,[10] has also been used to describe such adherents.[11][12][13][14][15]

Neoreactionaries typically accept at least some of the following principles:

  • Modern republics and liberal democracies are not truly better than older monarchical and aristocratic systems. They are believed to be so because a loose coalition of influences propagates the idea of their superiority. The coalition of influences consists chiefly of academia, the civil service, and the liberal press. Moldbug calls it “The Cathedral”.
  • The ideology of The Cathedral is Progressivism, which rejects Christ, only taking its ideas (for instance, the universal brotherhood and essential equality of man) from Christianity, shearing them of obvious religious content on the way.
  • Egalitarianism is a false idea; people vary in their abilities, and those who are the best, in some sense, should be running things.
  • Elected politicians have a variety of interests and motivations, according to which section of the populace is their electoral base, whereas an autocratic leader would be more likely to act towards the security and wealth of the nation as a whole.
