I was suspended during a high crime era in Los Angeles by the California State Bar. They preferred “surgical strikes” to cure the culture.  I hope “they” the school boards, teachers and the Department of Education take a communal approach to kids ditching class and not single out young, idealistic, frustrated 15 year-olds.  Anthony Weiner was venturing in a strange land, but what harm did he do?  You tell someone you’ll pay them to complain against him, like the State Bar of California did in my case, of course you’re going to get some complaints.  Unlike John Smoltz, I believe in Karma and the “bad” is not all mine.
